Teri, Meg and Bob had a fundraising BBQ a few weekends ago. It was a joint fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research, and for ALS Research.
They raised over $600 on a cold and windy spring day. Awesome job. Thank you!

Heather, George and Karen
Heather a a group of friends made a great afternoon of going to Toronto to check out Geroge Stroumboulopoulis and the Hour being taped live. The day got better when we found out the special guest for the day was Keith Urban. Thanks for inviting us to share the day Heather.

Heather and Lynn went to London on Thursday to do an interview with Kelly (on the left) from LHSC, The interveiw is going to be included in the London Health Sciences Centre Annual Report.
Heather has made a huge impact not only in our community, and the ALS community, and the Music community, but now also in the broader health care context.
Excellent work Heather. We are all proud to call you friend.
SnowTrax Television teams up with Team Vincent Motorsports in Support of ALS Research
Guests of the event benefited from spectacular trail conditions and beautiful weather. The Saturday night themed Casino dinner and auction raised in excess of $18,000 in which all proceeds will be donated to Dr. Michael Strong in support of his ongoing ALS Research.
While the event was largely focused around late owner and founder of SnowTrax Television, John Massingberd; participants of the event were blessed with the presence of Heather and Robert Snell. Heather, who is a close personal friend of Dave Vincent, has been courageously battling ALS for 4 years. Heather’s confidence and positive outlook on life inspired everyone and helped draw support in the search of finding a cure for ALS.

Wednesday evening the sanctuary of Glen Morris United Church was filled with friends and supporters of Heather. We were treated to a wonderful hour of Christmas music performed by the Laurier Singers of Wilfred Laurier University.
They broke away from their usual repertoire to delight the audience with seasonal favourites and even a sing-along carol! Wee Mary Murdock presented Heather with her “birthday pennies” and asked that we “keep hope alive”. This year for her birthday, Mary asked her friends to bring a donation for Dr.Strong to her party instead of birthday gifts. She turned 4 at the end of November. A remarkable child, and so sweet!
The melodies were sublime and the refreshments provided afterwards were divine! Chocolate balls and sugar cookies and cider for all. Merry Christmas Dr.Strong-we’re sending you another $2500.00:) Sadly, no limobus this time!!!! Hahaha!
For music of a tuneful heart,
For sunlight that gives day its’ start
For friends and those we love so true
We raise our humble thanks to You.
For cookies and a cup of cheer
For Christmas mem’ries we hold dear
For stars that shine on earth so bright
We turn our hearts to You, our Light.
Merry Christmas to you!
