Dual Fundraiser

There will be a fund raiser for ALS Research and Breast Cancer Research on Saturday May 2 (this weekend folks) in the parking lot between Ayr Home Hardware and  Team Vincent Motor Sports.  Thank you to both businesses for sponsoring the event.

Burgers and drinks will be sold.  Cross your fingers for hot sunny weather and come ready to eat.

What says “I love you” like a nice BBQ lunch out for mom?

Heather’s LHSC Interview

heathers-interview-003Heather and Lynn went to London on Thursday to do an interview with Kelly (on the left) from LHSC,  The interveiw is going to be included in the London Health Sciences Centre Annual Report.

Heather has made a huge impact not only in our community, and the ALS community, and the Music community, but now also in the broader health care context.

Excellent work Heather.  We are all proud to call you friend.

Jones Feed Mills make a donation for ALS research

jonesfeed-millsThank you so much to Jones Feed Mills in Linwood.  They have generously donated the Corn Flower Seeds that we’ll be using at the Hootenanny this year.  Cornflower is the official logo of ALS Canada.  We have given them to children to plant in their own pots in other years.  I cannot wait to see how they are being used this summer.

Thanks Jeff and Julie Jones for your support of ALS research in Canada and HH4H.

Our generous community strikes again!

We are fortunate to live in a wonderful community full of people that are willing to give generously in time, spirit, and gifts.

Patrick MacNeil, Pharmacist embodies the best of what a small town merchant can be.  He is a  man of wit, generous to a fault, knowledgeable and professional.  Patrick generously donated to the Hootenanny last year, and has donated once again this year.

Thank you Patrick.
